Vitamin M has gravitated in 2008 towards publically minded projects. We have also seen the benefit of doing professional level work for educational and non-profit organizations whose goals don’t work at our normal budget level.

There is much work to be done in our country and the world, be it politically or socially, where communications will be a key piece of the efforts. And we are a company that realizes private money or services should be offered in goodwill to those organizations or people making a difference with stretched resources.

Therefore, we have started a fund and a non-profit arm of our company called sound|vision, LLC. The group is managed by the same production professionals but also includes a network of advisors, writers and activists from the non-profit arena. We have made a seed donation into the fund and will continue to invest as well as open it to outside donations in 2009.

The basic idea is that if a project of an educational nature or a piece of motion picture that can help the world in some day needs to see the light of day, our fund can get it rolling.
