New Music Video - Michael Grodner directs Black Kites
Grodner released a Black Kites video this week. The Black Kites are an LA favorite called “dream pop” by the LA Times. The video has a great look, in part because of the musicians….
Grodner said, “When we were looking for a production designer for the video, we didn’t have to go very far…most of the band members work in the art department in the film industry for their day jobs. And then there was the house we shot in: an awesome 1920s-era old Hollywood relic tucked away in a none-too-glamorous section of downtown LA, which Mr. Alan Petherick, guitarist of the Black Kites, helped us procure.”

A definite great experience - the video came out better than expected, and working with Michael and his crew was very easy - i remember i was sick as a (sick) dog that weekend - and still had a great time. i wasn’t sure about the vest, but it seems like it worked out.
